St James’ Settlement has distributed 300 home learning kits to underprivileged SEN families. The kits will provide children with training materials while schools are closed due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The packs included exercises to build up their hand-eye coordination, social skills and improve the level of inattention. Parents are able to train their children at home during summer holiday. We believe home learning is essential as the longer that SEN children are out of school, the less likely they can catch up the lesson when return school in September.
